Summary

The B6 is where bunker systems begin to move from simple add-on storage into properly integrated fuel handling. It is still compact, but it introduces a level of engineering flexibility that makes it feel like part of the system design rather than an afterthought.

For many sites, the B6 is the first bunker where the fuel-handling arrangement is genuinely designed rather than adapted around whatever was already there.

Why Choose B6

The B6 offers several practical engineering advantages:

  • it can accept one or two rotary valve feeds
  • it can be lightly pressurised for direct dust extraction mounting
  • it adapts well to different roof and layout conditions

That flexibility makes it useful on sites where the bunker has to integrate properly with the wider handling system rather than simply act as a small storage box.

Practical Fit

The B6 is often the first serious step into engineered bunker-based handling. It is a sensible choice when the site wants more than a compact buffer, but does not yet need the scale or loading style of larger bulk-handling bunkers.
