Summary

The C12 is the taller compact option in the 2m diameter family. It keeps the same basic logic as the C6, but gives the site more breathing room before operator intervention is required. Where the C6 is a very small conical buffer, the C12 starts to become a more useful small-format storage solution while still remaining firmly in the compact end of the range.

It is chosen when the site still needs a tight overall footprint, still prefers conical discharge, but needs more usable storage than the C6 can provide.

Why Choose C12

The C12 makes sense where a compact conical layout is correct, but the smallest option is too tight operationally.

  • It preserves gravity discharge and compact geometry.
  • It offers a meaningful step up in storage from C6.
  • It remains suitable for constrained layouts where bunker geometry does not fit well.

This is not a large-autonomy silo. It is a compact conical system for sites that need a little more storage without stepping into a wider or taller mainstream silo format.

Best Use

The C12 is typically used when:

  • a small conical buffer is required
  • conical discharge is preferred
  • layout constraints prevent bunker installation
  • slightly more storage is needed than C6 can provide

If the site is beginning to move beyond a compact buffer and wants more meaningful operator relief, the next step is usually into the 3m diameter class.
