The C280 is the largest standard silo in the Ranheat range. By the time a project reaches this class, storage is no longer being chosen as a simple catalogue component. It is being engineered as part of a full industrial energy system. The questions at this level are about infrastructure strategy, operating continuity, site throughput, and how the entire plant will function over time.

This is storage on an energy-centre scale.

The C280 is typically used in:

• energy centres
• waste-to-energy systems
• high-capacity industrial sites

It provides the scale required for projects where a smaller silo would no longer be realistic in terms of autonomy, throughput, or operational resilience.

At this scale, the storage system is part of the plant infrastructure in the same way as the boiler house, fuel transfer systems, and control philosophy. These systems are engineered, not casually selected. The C280 exists for projects that need that level of storage capacity within a standard single-silo format before moving into multi-silo arrays and more complex site-wide fuel handling.
