The C55 is a niche but important model in the range. It is not common because most projects at this capacity can often be solved in another geometry. But where the site needs a large diameter and cannot accept additional height, the C55 becomes the correct answer.

This is a constraints-led engineering solution, not a mainstream catalogue default.

The C55 is chosen when:

• larger diameter is acceptable
• vertical height must remain low
• conventional narrower silo options do not fit the building or process layout

It gives the project access to a useful storage volume while keeping the structure lower than equivalent taller silos.

The C55 is best understood as a problem-solving model. It becomes valuable precisely when standard geometry options stop working cleanly. In those cases, it can be the right solution even if it would not be the first-choice model in a less constrained layout.
